Annette Newsome

Annette M. Newsome, 71, entered into rest June 22, 2019. She was a native of Swainsboro, Georgia but lived 45 years in the Augusta area, she was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Avenue Church of God. Survivors include her sons, Shawn, Gerry Newsome (Lisa), daughter Stephanie Newsome (Michael) and eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents Arlis & Rosa Lee Gregory Murphy, son Chris Newsome, baby brother and grandson Josh Oglesby. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 10:00 am at McNeill Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Hewatt officiating. Burial to be at 3:00 pm at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Swainsboro, Georgia. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to McNeill Funeral Home to help the family with funeral cost. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning starting at 9:00 am.
