ANNA PAULINE SCONYERS Loving Wife, Mother, and Nana to All Augusta, Georgia Anna Pauline Sconyers, 68, entered into the arms of her loving Savior and Lord on August 8, 2011 surrounded by her loving and devoted family. The family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will follow at Hillcrest memorial park.Rev. Greg Bentley will officiate.Pallbearers are Eddie Peoples, Jamie Peoples, Robbie Peoples, Chris Townsend, Neil Grice and Scotty Grice. She was born in Augusta, Georgia and is survived her loving husband, Joe, of 52 years.She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rosa Smith. Mrs. Sconyers was a retired school crossing guard at Gracewood Elementary School with over 36 years of service. Along with her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Rose and Brice Parnell, Randy and Kay Sconyers, Charlie and Lisa Sconyers; her grandchildren, Susie (Patrick) Crapps, Joseph Sconyers, Marie (James) Smith, Stacie Sconyers, Michael (Michelle) Sconyers,Brandon Sconyers and Chrissy Sconyers; her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Crapps, Zachary Smith, Caleb and Shelby Sconyers; her cousins who were like sisters to her, Doris (Carl) Powell and Kitty O’Tyson; and by many other family members and friends.
