Mrs. Ann Langdon Mills Augusta, Georgia Mrs. Ann Langdon Mills of Augusta died on January 27, 2012 at Doctors Hospital. She was 88 years old. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, 706.798.8886. The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at HIS Community Church, Pastor Steve Norsworthy will officiate the service. The committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Rodney Crenshaw, Ray Crenshaw, Dale Grimstead, Jerry Murphy, Gene Davis, and Robbie Cave will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Ann Langdon Mills is survived by her son Bobby Frank Mills, of Augusta; sister Ruth Murphy, of Augusta; granddaughter Candace and her husband Robert Dunaway, of Augusta and great granddaughter Emma Dunaway. Mrs. Ann Langdon Mills was preceded in death by her husband Monnie Franklin Mills; son Ronald Franklin Mills and sister Evelyn Cumbee. Mrs. Ann Langdon Mills was a member of HIS Community Church (formerly Fleming Church of God) where she loved to hear the word of God.
