Anita Louise "Nettie" Fritz (Blankenship)

Anita Louise “Nettie” Fritz (Blankenship), beloved mother of Darin Fritz, grandmother to Kathryn Louise “Katie” Fritz, passed away on Tuesday September 10, 2024.Nettie was born in West Virginia, served in the United States Air Force, retired from World Color in Evans Georgia. Nettie was 82 years old at her passing. She was an avid NASCAR fan and Jeff Gordon was her favorite driver. She was a member of the American Legion Post 192 for 42 years. She is survived by brothers Franklin Delano “Del”, John Lewis “Johnny” and Sisters Mildred June “Polly” Bleyer, Aleta Lovaleen West, Patricia “Pat” Cavender. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Proceeded in Death by her Husband, Don Fritz. Son John “Fuzzy” Fritz, Grandson Dalton Lee Brown, Parents Cloyd and Elizabeth “Zell” Blankenship. Brothers William Fredrick “Fred”, Gordon Allen “Gordy”, James Edward “Jimmy”. Sisters Betty Mae Purnell, Francis Lorraine “Sis” Castillo, Ruby “Naomi” Whitaker. Memorial services will be Sunday October 20th, 2:00 pm at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown, Georgia, there will be a celebration of life at American Legion Post 192, Evans Georgia following the grave site services, Denise Adams officiating.
