Angela Marie Jones

Angela Marie Jones passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ, her Savior, on January 14, 2022, with her sisters at her side. She was born in Augusta, Georgia, on February 14, 1968, to the late George Edwin Jones and Grace Eubanks Jones. Angie was a graduate of Westside High School and Augusta Technical College and was a former medical secretary/assistant. She also taught dance at the Y in her earlier years. Angie particularly enjoyed crafts and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of First Southern Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by twin daughters, Hannah, and Ivey Thompson. Her survivors include a son, Corey Hickman (Alyssa), daughters, Brianna Hickman and Madison Thompson, brother, Gregory Jones (Alexandra), sisters, Cindy Jones Hair (Ken), Susan Jones Hutto (Frank), and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on January 29, 2022, at 2:00pm at the First Southern Methodist Church, 927 Johns Road, Augusta, Georgia. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Southern Methodist Church. Interment will be private.
