Amanda Faye Perry Sinns

Amanda Faye Perry Sinns, 46, entered into rest Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at her home. Amanda was a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and lived in Augusta over the last 40 years. Amanda loved all people and had a servant’s heart. Amanda never met a stranger, and did everything within her means to help those that she cared for. Amanda especially loved children and animals and gave selflessly to assist of either in need. Amanda was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Faye Perry in 1999, and her father, Sammy Lee Perry, in 2016. Amanda is survived by husband, Johnny “John Boy” Sinns, Augusta; Brother, Danny Perry (Shannon) Thomson; Sister, Anita Perry (Aaron) North Augusta; Stepmother, Linda Perry, Atlanta; Mother-in-law, Janice Brooks, Bath, Stepson, Shaun Spires, Augusta, Granddaughter, Baylee Spires, Augusta; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as four fur babies (kitty cats) Allie, Knight Lee, Harley and Biscuit. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Good News Church with Rev. Mike Fogarty and Minister Tiara Perry officiating. Flowers may be delivered to Good News Church, 400 Warren Road, Augusta, GA 30907. Donations may be made in Amanda’s name to the CSRA Humane Society.
