Alda Cavanagh

Ms. Alda Cavanagh Augusta, GA Ms. Alda Cavanagh of Augusta died on Friday, May 25, 2012. She was 88 years old. A memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Ms. Cavanagh is survived by her son Alan Botifollo and his wife Pat, of Durham, NC; sister-in-law Nellie A. Tatum of Augusta, GA; nephews Charles Tatum and his wife Maggie, David Tatum and his wife Sandy, of North Augusta, SC and a host of many friends. Ms. Cavanagh was born and raised in Crewe, Virginia; after she graduated from Lynchburg College she moved and became a native of Miami, Florida. After the hurricane Andrew destroyed her home in 1992 she moved to St. Johns Towers in Augusta, Georgia. She was a portrait artist and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she is remembered as a friend to each person she met.
