Albert C. Ignatavich

Grovetown, Ga – Albert C. Ignatavich, Jr., 67, of Grovetown, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Doctors Hospital, Augusta. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 28 in the Chapel of Poteet Funeral Home with Deacon Gregory L. Bernard officiating. A native of Waterbury, Connecticut, he worked for many years in the manufacturing industry before finishing his career at Howmet Castings as a shift supervisor. He enjoyed spending time with his children, traveling in his RV, fishing, watching classic movies, and playing instruments and singing. He was considered to be thoughtful and caring towards others, always putting others peoples needs before his own. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Ignatavich; daughters Sandra Lee Thomas and Jennifer Lee Thomas; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Carver, Samantha Thomas, Michael Thomas, Justice Ignatavich, Liberty Thomas, Gloria Thomas, Victoria Thomas, and Robert Thomas. One great grandchild, Damien Carver. The family will receive friends Tuesday March 28 from 12:00 until 2:00 at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
