Alan E. Anthony

October 3, 1948 — January 15, 2024

Our beloved Alan E. Anthony has passed on into the arms of GOD on January 15th, 2024, in the Georgia War Nursing Home. Alan leaves his wife of 45 years, Brenda Jane, 2 sons Timothy Anthony (Alexandra), Brent Anthony (Megan), 1 daughter Kasey Sizemore (Cameron), and 3 Grandsons Michael Anthony, James and Thomas Sizemore, 3 Sisters Debbie Prince, Gail Anthony, Sharon Norris (Chris), 2 Brothers Randy and Johnny Anthony. Alan Served in the Air Force. He worked many years as a Chemical Plant Operator. His biggest passion in life was fishing. He would leave before sun up and yell "Bye Brenda Jane I’ll be back about dark thirty Love you!" Sure enough, he would show up as it was getting dark, with that boat coming down the driveway with plenty of fish. He was so happy cooking up big family fish dinners. He loved reading and was a published author. Special thanks to the Georgia War Nursing Home 3rd floor Kay Roland, Drs., Nurses, CNAS, Social Workers, and Activities Director. All of the Staff in that building were involved in helping Alan in one way or another. All did it with so much compassion and respect. At this time in his life, he couldn't have been in a better place. Thank you all so much. My sweet Husband was so loved and will be missed.
