Mrs. Ahmanell “Nell” Kee, of Crestview Drive in North Augusta, died on Tuesday, September 22, 2009.She was 83 years old. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.Rev. Wade Everett will officiate.Pallbearers are David Edgar, Kelly Edgar, Ray Kight, Chuck Burke, Midge Chance, and Eddie Williams. Mrs. Kee is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Engle R. Beasley Jr. and Kendra Beasley; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Leonard Kee; her parents, Harley and Sarah Woods Thigpen; five sisters and five brothers.
