Addie Gorsuch North Augusta, SC – Addie Maude Gorsuch entered into rest on Sunday October 9, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Poteet Funeral Home -Chapel 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta with Pastor Steve Hartman officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum. Born November 5, 1934, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Addie was a devoted lover of our Lord and risen Savior Jesus Christ. Although sad to leave her beloved family, she had no doubt that she would see Jesus when she opened her eyes. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Gorsuch, son Chris Holmes, sisters Annie Lee Bown and Fannie Mae Youmans, and anticipated the reunion with them and others in her Heavenly home. Her survivors include children Earl Marsh, Theresa Crouch, Kenneth Holmes, and Randall Holmes; grandchildren Brad Montgomery, Ben Holmes, Jessica D’Angiolillo, Sherry Shauffelburger, Amanda Carpenter, Randall Holmes, Jr.; great grandchildren Taylor, Logan, Emily, Liam, Lorelei, Owen, and Emma. She also has one sister Eula Mae Fykes, and many nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM Friday evening at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
